Application:

Polyethylene Insulated and sheathed, pair type, jelly filled and armoured underground cables to be used in places where there is possibility of mechanical impacts and damages to the cables.

Nominal Capacitance:
52 nf/Km at 1000 Hz (IRAN PTT Spec. TCI - 1993)

Construction:
I.Conductors: 0.4, 0.6, 0.9 mm annealed copper;
2.insulation: HDPE, solid*;
3.Cabling: colour coded and Insulated wires are pair twisted and cross stranded into sub-units, main-units and subsequently cabled in concentric layers to make the final lay up of cable core;
4.Filling: Petroleum jelly applied to the cable core interestice;
5. Core wrapping: one or two layer(s) of polyester tape;
6.Shield: Longitudinally applied, flat copolymer coated 200m Aluminium tape;
7.Inner sheath: LDPE, Black colour;
8.Armouring: Longitudinally applied corrugated tinplate steel tape;
9. Flooding compound: Petroleum Based flooding compound
applied over and under steel tape;
10.Outer sheath: LDPE, Black colour.
